/v3/people/accounts	Which accounts do others engage with most? Whose calls have worked best?

Every account here is an X account, named by its handle, which is what calls take as handle. A handle is not an entity id: see Two Kinds of Identifier. Telegram channels are not ranked. Requests are free until 31 October 2026.

Standing

standing is how much other accounts engage with an account: replies and quotes, reposts less, recent engagement more, its own not at all. A percentile from 0 to 1 against every account we score: 0.9 beats 90% of them.

Standing measures attention, not accuracy. For whether an account's calls work, read its track, or rank by it: see Ranking by Track Record.

Ranking by Track Record

metric ranks accounts by one of the three numbers in their track instead of by standing:

alphaScore	Return against the market (BTC for crypto, SPY for equities) and outright, pulled toward 0 while there are few positions	"Best callers", "top performing traders". The default choice
hitRate	Share of scored positions that made money	When the question is how often an account is right
avgReturn	Mean realized return, direction-adjusted. Not adjusted for the market	When the question is the size of the wins

• Only accounts with at least 20 scored positions are ranked. Fewer than that and a hit rate or an average return is mostly luck: ranked on 10 positions, hit rate says almost nothing about how the next ones go. An account below 20 is still in the standing ranking, with its track.
• Every position since late June 2026 counts. There is no time window. For an account's recent calls, read call episodes with its handle.
• Ties go to more scored positions. Hit rates tie often: 15 of 20 and 30 of 40 are both 0.75, and 30 of 40 ranks first.
• Rankings refresh once a day, when positions are scored.

avgReturn rewards a few big wins and riding a rally. To rank "the best traders":

Sohrab was right half the time, a few large wins lift their average, and their alphaScore, which counts the market, is below 0. Quote the number you ranked by, with scoredEpisodes.

GET /v3/people/accounts?limit=3, read on 6 October 2026, trimmed to ranks 1 and 3. Elon Musk has never opened a position, so his track is null.

Accounts we hold no handle for are left out, so ranks have no gaps. A nextCursor works only with the metric and order it came from; any other pair is a 400.
